I don't believe anything remotely positive that I hear out of Marvel anymore -- they've lied too much for me to trust them. Especially about Steve, whom they've pulled a bait-and-switch trick over at least three times now (with Avengers/Invaders promotional art, with the horrible fake!Steve storyline Brubaker did last year, and I know there's at least one more).

I kind of doubt they're ever bringing him back, at this point, honestly, at least as long as the people currently in charge at Marvel are still there. If they were going to, I don't think they'd be busy killing off every classic Avengers character they can think of.
