Hmm. That wasn't my intent. Now that you've pointed out the problem, I'll edit to clarify. I wasn't trying to suggest that they're the same kind of exclusion. I was trying to point out some of the different kinds of exclusion that are embedded in 'Fandom is-' thinking. And certainly I think that social justice issues are more important fights than things like media vs. manga fandom interrelations. Thanks for the criticism! I've got some work to do, now.
