Argh.

Like [livejournal.com profile] dammitcarl, I missed Beta Appreciation Day for turkey. And I so wanted to appreciate my betas on the appropriate day.

I can always count on [livejournal.com profile] tstar78 to untangle my grammar, so something like sense emerges. "Respire" wouldn't have been the same fic without her. It would have been very, very confusing. *g* Caro is supportive of all my strange ideas and pushes me to realize them in fic.

[livejournal.com profile] sajasma was there for Elf Cock, but more importantly, she'll beta anything I produce and help me take it to the next level, in terms of subtlety and meaning. She probably doesn't know she's doing this.

[livejournal.com profile] rageprufrock refuses to touch grammar, but she has a head for charcterization, plotting and nuance that just won't quit. Yes, I'm aware that I'm mixing metaphors. *haughty sniff* She's one of those rare people who can actually pinpoint the problems in a scene, instead of simply proclaiming that Dude, it doesn't work. Rephrase!

[livejournal.com profile] seperis pushes me to tease out new layers from my wee fics, and to make my ambiguity strategic, instead of lazy. She helps me think about my characters in new ways and is unfailingly encouraging.

I also appreciate all the fine work [livejournal.com profile] mctabby, [livejournal.com profile] isiscolo, [livejournal.com profile] aesc, [livejournal.com profile] peral_o, [livejournal.com profile] liviapenn, [livejournal.com profile] lasultrix, [livejournal.com profile] emelerin, [livejournal.com profile] oktober_ghost, [livejournal.com profile] celli et al, have done for writers. Keep it up ladies! I can always use more fic to read.
