Elections are essential viewing in my program, and this one particularly. All my profs are allowing grace time for the distraction from school work. Because "we need to be more attentive to the requirements of being transformative agents in our communities."

I'm jealous! I had a midterm Tuesday morning, one today, and I've assignment due tonight (like hell I've done the reading for it).

That's just cruel. I'm in Canada, and yet my faculty recognized the election as a historic moment, and dialed back on everything. Of course, extending deadlines gives them more time to election watch, and then election process, too.

We need to go back to the days of elections being national holidays.
