quick question from the library

Why am I getting spammed via Facebook with announcements for parties in the most exclusive, high end clubs and lounges in the city?

I'm signed up to the V&A notices, which means that I keep getting not only invites to events that I want to go to, but also all of the photos of events that I wanted to go to, but couldn't.
