... play the same songs over and over whilst writing/studying? I've discovered that I need to keep last.fm scrobbling turned off while I write/study, or else my profile gets incredibly skewed. Sometimes I'll play a song upwards of thirty times in a row when I'm working on something.

Anyone else do this?

I don't do it specifically while doing a certain activity, but if I really, really like a song there are times I'll put it on repeat and just listen to that.

*nod* I do that too. But when I really need to concentrate on something, I seem to fixate on a song/group of songs.
