Hmm.

Do you think it's disgustingly petty to be tempted to remove a user from your flist, based on the fact s/he admires someone you think is an unspeakable moron and a hateful little insect in need of immediate vivisection?

I'm tempted.

Like when you see that someone esteems Anne Rice and you just blanch? It's petty, but understandable.

*wonders, egotistically, if you mean me, which would be pretty amusing*

God yes. I've ended friendships over bad literary taste - I just lose all faith in their intellect. *shudders*

It's not you but that would be snicker-worthy.

Hee, thanks.

You know, it just struck me as beyond hilarious to be the first person to respond to a thread, and coincidentally be the unwitting topic of that thread. Anyway. So, you defriended? Now I wish that I'd had the presence of mind to check out your listbefore so I knew who was that caused so much commentary.

If they ask why they were defriended, maybe you could show them this thread ...

*eyes light up in anticipation of their response*

I haven't removed the person yet. There are complications, y'see. I have to plan this carefully, so as to make it seem natural-like. *g*
