anti-racist modding? help?
After a series of charged posts about racism in comics (which mostly went over quite well), on NSD and SD 2.0, we had this post, in which much aggressive derailing and nastiness occurred. The OP was banned, as well as one of the commentors. Both had received multiple warnings in the past for rudeness and making personal attacks.
The mod team has put together a post here and here, asking for help in finding a way to balance anti-racist speech with the community's rules for discourse. We don't want to silence people of colour or allies, but we also have a responsibility to make sure people play by the rules. So how do you do that?
I'm not sure where to look specifically for resources about anti-racist (and anti-sexist...) modding. If anyone has recommendations for articles, videos or what have you, I would very much appreciate them.
