Lex and my lj neurosis

The first four of these pics of Michael Rosenbaum make me want to write AU preacher!Lex. The next seven make me want to write FPS!Lex. I'm clearly losing my mind.

Remember when I said that I friend and defriend for the most absurd reasons? Having 93 lj friends was bothering me. I needed a better number. 100 sounded nice so I added 7 people and am in a better place. La la la! Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] wired_lizard and [livejournal.com profile] sajasma for enabling.

Those pictures just give me naughty MR thoughts (more RPS? hmm). However, explain FPS!Lex to me?

I also do the silliness with the friends list. If the number doesn't please me, I'll go look for people I can friend/defriend. *grins*

FPS=First Person Shooter. It's my Lex-is-trapped-in-a-game-and-forced-to-battle-zombies ideas. *g*

It's nice to know I'm not the only neurotic quack on lj.

*laughs* I have no where near that many friends on my list. Wow.

I tend to get a lot of turnover in my friends-of list, with big increases after I post a fic. Then, when people realize how truly boring I am, they defriend. ;-)

Wow. Lucky you. I definitely don't get very many reviews for fics, but that may be because I haven't updated any in very long. *sighs*

I think I've been extremely lucky with feedback and I'm always amazed by the quantity of it. It's funny though, whether one person drops you a line, or 60, the satisfaction and gratitude is about the same.

I agree. As long as the comments say something besides "Write more now!", I'm v. satisfied with any reviews I get :-)

Yes, for me the magic word is 'because'. As long as someone can tell me, even hint at why the feel a certain way, their feedback is the best thing in the world. Of course, I derive a certain satisfaction from speechlessness too.

Hmn, yes. Makes me feel good.

*g* I definitely enjoy when I reviewer tells me why they like or didn't like something. At least, then, I know what to do differently next time. I agree.

The most frustrating reviews, I find, are "I love it!".

Um, ok, so why did you love it? What did you love? As uncharitable and ungratful as it is, I just want to stab those people in the face. ^_-

Right.

I mean, I like the compliments, yes ... but at the same time, I'd like to know why. Because it leaves me unsatisfied. So, I completely agree once again. *laughs*
