Am slowly slagging through lj comments. If you're one of the heartless bitches who posted on this thread, expect an answer soon. I'm working on 'em, I swear, it's just that I've been busy finding pics for my website... and stuff. *looks shifty*

Now. I loathe eggplant but there is eggplant in my house. How should I cook the vile stuff? Recipe recs, anyone?

Ok, so I broke my perfect 100 and added a whole bunch of new people to my fiends list. If any of you have further people recs, I'll be happy to take them. Meta, snark and multi-fandom discussion are very welcome.

Cut into slices, slather with olive oil, sprinkle with pepper and salt and rosemary and garlic, and roast at 375F until all limp but not mushy.

Good by itself; with red bell peppers and/or yellow squash and/or portobello mushrooms, also roasted; on bread with cheese melted a bit on top; cold and marinated in balsamic vinegar.

I used to loathe eggplant, but now I like it ok.

You should make yourself some toast and sit around a tell the eggplant you'd rather eat nothing but toast that have to eat eggplant.
