You show a talent for lyricism that I haven't noticed in your other fics, fitting the verse and prose together seamlessly. Your imagery is neatly served by wise word choice, and is layered and layered with cultural, religious and literary metaphor.

This is a great character study of Sirius, but also of the mindset that infroms the house of Black. It's delicate and obvious in turns and it works. Narcissa and Sirius in the attack was the perfect choice to close this story.

I'm going to rec this and then read it again. ^_-
