Also, they made Briseis a royal cousin and Helen some pretty thing Menelaus picked up and dragged to Sparta as a trophy. And... and... Patroclus was never Achilles' cousin. Briseis certainly wasn't the reason that Achilles refused to fight - everybody knows the whiny bitch didn't want to fight until Agamemnon begged him.
But above and beyond the rest: why did the Trojan War take place in the space of like, two months?
