All week I've been thinking about posting in this journal. MHC, I said to myself, you've been out of fandom too long. You need to geek out a little, rant about something ultimately meaningless and make an utter fool of yourself. Remember how much fun you used to have? But then I realized that I have absolutely nothing interesting to say, which was one of the leading causes of my abandoning this journal in the first place.

So what to do? I considered posting about current events, fandom issues, myself and even a Top 4 of 04 retrospective, but then I realized that all of those posts would have been really, really fucking boring and so killed them before they made it through this posting interface.

Finally I settled on this post, which is nothing more than a rank pile of self-interested babble, and therefore, perfect for livejournal!

How'd I miss this?! And boy, have I missed you.

In short, still a failed playwright, nearly got married and moved to Argentina, made out with a guy whose name I still don't know, had a concussion, had series of jobs, paid off my student loans, reduced my drinking, lost weight and am still writing the geekiest Snape stories ever.

So, how has the year been?

Eventful! My year on the other hand has not been and consequently I haven't much to report. Let's see... I'm in regular therapy, dating casually, dieting successfully and considering dropping out of school to travel the world and eventually open a gourmet cafe.

Learn software skills and presentation skills (aka acting and public speaking) Work you ass off. Save up, and fucking GO. You will learn a hell of a lot more, and the debt may been even less han uni. Besides, you can get your BA/BS at anytime.

um, still at the job from hell. still looking for a new job. pretty much stopped writing entirely. that's not entirely voluntary but the words, they've left my brain. Only watch SV cause I can't. seem. to. stop.

Am watching Lost & VMars on a regular basis and totally loving it, but don't have any real fandom involvement at all right now.

Mostly I'm even boring myself.
