And for truly epic-length casefile gen, sodakey's In Reverse (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2787883/1/) (circa season 1/2, Sam & Dean are invited to stay in a vacation cabin with some of Sam's college friends, who are very well-realized and non-Sueish OCs. Naturally, the area is haunted. Also naturally, interacting with kids from Stanford stirs up all kinds of issues, as Dean is afraid Sam will leave him to go have a normal life and Sam is all torn and conflicted and so forth. Also Dean gets beat up real good.).

I can recc my friend's work minkmix. Mink isn't big on Wincest and she does some Dark Angel crossover fic and lots of wee!chester stuff. She is responsible for getting me into SPN. When she was down last summer she brought cherry-picked episodes with her to ensnare me. XD
