Marry, F*ck, or Kill #15: Star Wars!

Three characters, people, animals, vegetables or minerals are given, and you must choose one to marry, one to f*ck and one to kill. No fence sitting. No halfsies. Ya gotta choose.

[Poll #1384975]

Damnit why can't I marry all of them? Or have them in a hot threesome. Mhmm Luke/Leia/Han.

GREAT ICON!

[identity profile] schmevil.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
This one is so hard. Why do I do this? It's like some kind of sick, hurt/comfort poll game. D:

Luke/Leia/Han is so obviously the solution. I wonder how the results will break down next week, when I do the prequel. *g*

The relative lack of threesome fic for those three is one of the great tragedies of the internet.

Man, the incest taboo really is just gone in fandom these days, isn't it?

[identity profile] schmevil.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 02:49 am (UTC)(link)
Heh, yes and no. Luke/Leia is incest, but it's less disturbing to me than than Dick/Tim. That squicks me like you wouldn't believe.

[identity profile] kijikun.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
I'm so glad I'm not alone in that. I can't read Dick/Bruce either. ;_; Kon/Kal also breaks me.

But Luke/Leia/Han? Mhm.

[identity profile] schmevil.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
Cross generational incest is just a no-go for me. When it comes to 'emotional' rather than biological incest, there are a few rare exceptions, just as Luke/Leia/Han somehow doesn't bother me as much as Wincest does.

[identity profile] bluefall.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
Well, Dick/Tim has a fairly stark power dynamic. Luke and Leia met as adults and interact as equals. (Also, the comics shipped them like mad before Lucas Jossed them, which probably goes some way toward normalizing the idea for anyone who read them.) Considering the attitude of fandom toward sex, it makes a lot of sense that emotional relationships are far more significant to whether stuff trips as incest than sheer genetics.

(Personally, I'm indifferent to most Batshipping - I don't see it, but it doesn't squick me - but Earth-2 Dick/Helena makes me twitch violently, and Johns went and made it angsty canon, AUGH. I mean, Wanda/Pietro as Ultimate canon is kind of fun, but only because it knows it's wrong and doesn't pretend to be healthy.)

[identity profile] elspethdixon.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
Well, you could just write poly where the two of them are sharing Han without ever actually sleeping with each other, which would have some vaguely incestuous vibes, but wouldn't actually be incest.

Luke/Leia don't meet until adulthood, though, unlike most incest pairings fandom tends to like -- and Lucas himself has them kissing in the first movie. They're the same kind of suprise!incest/unintentional incest that's been a stable of gothic novels and literature in general (Moll Flanders, the collected works of V.C. Andrews) for ages. Luke/Leia actually works within a pre-existing literary tradition of romantic relationships between long-lost siblings who don't know they're related at first. Which doesn't mean it wouldn't be supremely squicky for an awful lot of readers.

To be fair, this one's been around long before the internet Age of Wincest.

Threesomes solve a great many things. Torchwood? Gwen/Jack/Ianto. Babylon 5? Lennier/Delenn/John. Iron Man? Steve/Pepper/Tony (Also Pepper/Wong/Stephen Strange - I like Pepper in my Marvel OT3s). Spiderman? MJ/Peter/Matt. Bucky!Captain America - Sharon/James/Natasha. PotC: Will/Elizabeth/Jack.

And...I cliff everyone but Obi-Won?

OBI-WAN FTW! I've been fangirling the character since the original trilogy. <3 But I think Padme might have been more likable, had they cast a stronger actor as her opposite. Anakin was like a contagion of suck.

Re Bru!Cap: Sharon/Sam, Natasha/James. *lays down the law*

Will/Elizabeth/Jack though, is love.

I'm going to get kicked out of geekdom for spelling his name wrong, aren't I? *G*

Sharon/Sam? I think I like that. Though what about Natasha/James/Toro(Tom)?

[identity profile] bluefall.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
... Lennier/Marcus, surely?

[identity profile] kijikun.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
Only if Susan is in there. Susan/Marcus was/is a big OTP of mine. I'm always surprised though that Vir/Lennier wasn't big.

[identity profile] bluefall.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, you lose me there, Susan/Talia is one of my ironclad inviolable OTPs.

I think I have seen some Vir/Lennier out there, but it was always wistful second-choice kind of thing that was really Vir/Londo and Lennier/Delenn. Apropos given the general mood of the show, I suppose.

[identity profile] forked.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 04:29 am (UTC)(link)
Gah- you're getting eviler with these.

Weirdly (given my general heterosexuality)- I couldn't really decide between Luke/Leia for who I'd rather fuck. So had to base it on who I'd mind killing the least. And Luke annoyed me sometimes while Leia was pure awesomeness, so....

[identity profile] outlawpoet.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 05:53 pm (UTC)(link)
yeah, seems like Luke is always losing that one. Nobody, as of this comment, has chosen to fuck him.

And I understand that completely.

[identity profile] dlasta.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow, I really can't do this one.
:O!

[identity profile] bienegold.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 11:15 pm (UTC)(link)
I think this was actually one of the easiest for me!

[identity profile] dirty-diana.livejournal.com 2009-04-17 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
This was...not too hard, actually. Luke's husband material all the way, and Leia is SO HOT, can't pass that up. Tick, tick, tick.

[identity profile] sandoz-iscariot.livejournal.com 2009-04-18 04:34 pm (UTC)(link)
This was hard, but my 18-year crush on Luke Skywalker won out. I'm reassured that Han would shoot me before I shot him, though.
