How is it that (in universe) no one has connected Sam and Dean Winchester, genre series characters, with Sam and Dean Winchester, arch criminals? Surely there must be some fangirl speculation as to whether Chuck was inspired by the mass murdering, Bonnie and Clyde Satanists, who died in a chopper explosion?


And an unrelated Harry Potter question - Jesus H Christ, Lady Rowling, how in hell did you let your timelines get so scrambled?

Well, for one, Sam and Dean genre series characters, never had their last names given in the books. That's how Chuck believed them, when one of the brothers says their name. At least, that's what I think is the reason.

Good point! Still, one would think that Sam&Dean brothers in crime, and Sam&Dean brothers in arms, would be connected by someone. I mean, it's fandom. We're nerds like that.
