Kiji and I were talking about Supernatural 5.13 and how I would love some Anna&Castiel stories spinning out of it. I mentioned that if I had more time, I would be all over an AU tag. But now that I've had time to mull the possibilities, I've figured out what I really want.
I want a long, gritty AU with a human Anna cured of her angel fantasies. She's a Lois Lane style girl reporter: aggressive about getting the story, stubborn, independent, and daring. She meets the Winchesters while (they're both) working on a case, and gets more and more involved in the supernatural world. When she inevitably crosses paths with a demon, she knows that something is wrong, and takes off. The instinct saves her life, but what is it? How did she know? She pokes at it until she erodes the block she's erected in her mind, and so returns Angel Radio. Cue Anna investigating the existence of angels, and getting unfortunately involved with the plans for the Apocalypse. Circa S2 or 3, I think. So who's going to write this for me?
