Ok, also from this list of Best Conservative Movies, is this gem about 300:

During the Bush years, Hollywood neglected the heroism of American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan — but it did release this action film about martial honor, unflinching courage, and the oft-ignored truth that freedom isn’t free. I want to fucking roll around in the silliness and savour it. THE WEST'S FLEDGLING INSTITUTIONS, YOU GUYS. Did we see the same movie? (I suspect not).
