Someone (was it salinea?) asked about sequentialcrack recently. It kind of fell by the wayside, as we couldn't find enough recers to keep it going. Is there interest in the comm? I'd be willing to revive it, if people (quite a few) were interested.

Ah, my memory didn't fail me (for once)! Wellll, see if anyone you know would be interested in doing some recs. I'll ask Sandoz if she wants to help with the Franken-comm. I'll have to go over the structure, see if I can simplify it, so it's more encouraging to potential recers.

I'd be interested although I'm a bit confused about fandom regulations. How do they work and how wide are they?

My co-mod and I are rejigging the fandoms list, based on current popularity. Permanent fandoms (probably Avengers, X-Men and Batfamily) are in constant rotation, while regular fandoms go in and out of rotation, two at a time. This is so that we don't exhaust the more limited pool of recers we can attract for say, JSA fic. We also allow small/rare fandom recs, based on availability of recers--if someone wants to rec Y:The Last Man, we'll slot them in.

Oh, and as to how wide the fandom categories are--as I said we're rejigging the system right now to allow more movieverse content. So much of what's being produced these days takes a bit from several canons. We're pretty relaxed in terms of what counts as a Batfamily story. If the focus is on a Batman character, then it counts, regardless of whatever other characters appear. We don't mod strictly, is what I'm saying.

Thank you, that's very clear. I read in a variety of comics fandoms so I'm sure there will be a division that fits.
