We all have our reasons. Personally, there's something fun about reading something so utterly terrible and pointing out the mechanical/technical errors. Then there are the badfics that are so bad they're good - like an Ed Wood film.

Get a bunch of people together, all talking about the same badfic and it's really quite amusing.

(And sometimes you just want to be a catty bitch and badfic provides an easy target. ~_^)

Hmm. Perhaps because I pratically read badfic for a living (read: student essays) the idea still fails to appeal to me. I'd rather do it and get paid, at least. ^_^
