Your thoughts on yaoi

Although I read (and sometimes write) slash, I've never really considered slash to be an important part of my fannish identity. I'm as likely to fall for a het ship, or femslash ship, as a slash ship, and it's even more likely for me to not ship much of anything at all. And although I have many friends in the slash community, I don't consider it to be my fannish home base.

So what makes a slasher? Are you a slasher? Why do you consider yourself to be (or not to be) a slasher?

Somehow the yaoi-ier stories become more palatable with slash to balance them.

I think I get what you mean. I do like writing "yaoi" couples with slash conventions, though. Shuichi's more interesting if he tops once in awhile.

f/f hentai too

Do you mean to say that there are girls-with-penises with ... invisible penises? Because I think my brain just broke ...

I haven't seen Gravitation yet, but I like all my pairings to switch things up. Especially if one of them is more physically or emotionally assertive.

You mean to say you haven't seen censored futanari? *g* You also sometimes get invisible penises thrusting into invisible vaginas. It's kind of hilarious, really.

I'm finding power movements are more interesting, anyway.

Heh-heh. Naw. Fuzzed out I've seen (actually in the pairing in my icon -- I feel unclean), but not invisible.
