Of course! This is how Dean realizes they're both alive and back! He'll, of course, have Facebook at that time, and one of his work buddies--the annoying one, who kinda hates Dean--will send him a link to their Facebook page. Dean will freak out and buy a ticket to go to a concert. XD
Then there's a dramatic confrontation backstage. It goes badly. Sammy saying he wanted Dean to have a happy, normal life. Castiel saying that it's all about the music, man.
Dean ends up going home and grousing to Lisa, who's a fan. She even plays Cas's album at the yoga studio. Ben is like, "OMG CAS IS AWESOME. See Dean? This is what happens when you only listen to your tapes."
Eventually Sam and Cas would come to whatever town Dean and Lisa are living in, and Lisa and Ben would drag Dean down to the show. There, Cas would dedicate an entire song to him. Sam would play the spoons.
Oh my gah, Sam on the spoons. I love it. I think this is turning into a Sassyfic, and I don't mind one bit.
Meanwhile, Dean's been carrying all this rage against the machine (god), and Sassy encourage him to let it go. "Just be in the music, Dean. BE in the music."
"What Cas is trying to say is that, I'm alive, you're alive, Cas is an award winning folk singer, and... whatever. Be in the music."
NGL, I've never read Sassy before, but I'd totally read this fic. XD
And then Lisa would get the crowd to lift Dean onto the stage (against his will). But once got up there, Sam would give him a hug and everything would be okay. :') Then Ben would pull out a guitar and hand it up to Dean. Then all three would play music.
I'm in the middle of writing a serious Sassyfic. It's a fun pairing. I'm sure some people are in it for the angst and for sure some people are in it purely for lulz, but I think they actually connect in an interesting way. I'm not OTP by nature though, so it doesn't ~threaten my other ships. ;) Anyway!
Yessss. And the audience films it, puts it up on YouTube and the three of them become a ~sensation.
I'm going to have to make the leap and actually read some. :D The most recent Supernatural episodes have been lacking in Dean/Castiel-ness but abundant in Sam-Cas friendshippy-ness. I must investigate. :D
