I unsubbed from all but substanceandstyle, Obscurus Fics,Riddlefics and ClarkLexFic. There's just so little in the way of interesting discussion occuring on Yahoo!. I've finally given up on Snape Slash entirely and leave it dead and buried.

A few weeks ago I recieved an email regarding Respire. The sender was evidently upset by the story and informed me that I should be more careful with my warnings. For those who asked, here is my response:

Warning that it was a death story would have spoiled the plot and ruined the effect of the story. Neither Level3 nor the SSA to warn for death and I therefore my choice not to do so was well within my rights. It's terribly unfortunate that I assumed most to have enough maturity to handle the theme. In future I'll make sure to warn for the lowest common denominator. "Warning, this story may have some kind of unspecified emotional impact. Do not read if you prefer general numbness."

I've also finally waded through all the begging for sequels to this story, more of that one. I've had hundreds of these messages in the course of one year - you know the ones, three words, perhaps a hex and some punctuation. Why do people insist on begging for stories? The fuck did fandom dignity go? Oh... no wait. There's never been dignity in fandom.
